New president elected as network grows to include three new member firms
Globalaw has elected Marco Bolognini as the new president of the international legal network. Bolognini is a partner at member firm MAIO Legal in Spain and he succeeds Bryan Birkeland, partner at US member firm Jackson Walker. Bolognini’s election comes during a time of growth for the network, with three new member firms joining the network.
During his first speech as incoming President at the Globalaw Annual Members Meeting in London (October 25 – 28, 2017), Bolognini addressed representatives of the member firms. “The global legal market that we compete in every day is becoming increasingly challenging and complex. As President, I will work with passion and dedication to build a stronger network that can continue to be a forceful competitor on the global stage,” he said.
The new member firms are Olshan Frome Wolosky in the United States; the Law Offices of Jean-Charles S Gardetto in Monaco; and Vallenilla, Escalante & Asociados in Venezuela. These new member firms will expand Globalaw’s reach into the European and American jurisdictions, with 26 member firms in the Americas and 43 in Europe. All legal firms operating in Globalaw’s jurisdictions are selected to join the network based on their ability to deliver exceptional client service, the strength of their local connections and their ability to provide global clients with local knowledge and regional expertise.
